Eat your greens

A really good trick to help you serve yourself more appropriate portions is to put your vegetables on the plate first and take up plenty of room with them.

Portion size for veg and salad is heaped cupped hands. By serving that amount of vegetables first you’ll be less tempted to add too much protein and carbs to the plate because there’ll be loads less space for them and they won’t look lonely!

When eating start with a few mouthfuls of the vegetables rather than leaving them to the end as so many people do, they’ll help take the edge off your hunger so you might stop eating sooner when you feel full/comfortable.

And the best tip of all. Actually do these tips, cos just reading them and knowing them doesn’t work 🙂
