What made you choose Nuush?
I had been FB friends with Sally for a while before making the jump. I love the whole concept of no shakes or bars. Everything natural. Whole foods. Plus I knew the food would be ace since it’s British 😍.
How long have you been with Nuush and had you tried other diets?
I’ve been with Nuush since 2015. Not tried anything else as I don’t have a weight issue. I use it for fuelling my running properly.
What inspires you?
I’m inspired by people who never give up and never let obstacles hold them back.
What’s your desert island food?
Definitely avocado. I’m famous for my love of them.
Nuush note: We call Ally ‘Allycado’ as we like to make up food names for people!
What are the joys and benefits of Nuush?
The joys are firstly the gorgeous people in this organisation. Friendly down to earth people all trying to live life to the fullest. The recipes are wonderful, so many variations and easy to make. Its benefits are good health, vitality, support, inspiration, and friends for life. Not to mention education. Learning things about nutrition is so important.
One piece of advice for anyone living with you?
You better have a sense of humour. I don’t take myself too seriously but I don’t suffer fools gladly. I have no filter lol. I used to, but it’s gone over the years.
Most interesting thing you’ve learnt this week?
I listened to a running podcast and was fascinated by a gentleman called Ken Fancette. He’s 68 and is just an amazing athlete. I learned you’re never too old to count anything out plus he had some fantastic ultra running tips. I actually ran South Downs 100 with him last June but didn’t know it. I wish I had known. I’d have picked his brain 😂.
What’s your food nemesis?
Oysters. I can’t even be in a room if someone is eating them.
Favourite Nuush meal?
Favourite form of activity?
Trail running, although my Peleton cycle is a close second. I’m a bit addicted to it.
What’s one of your family’s speciality dishes?
Shepherd’s pie.
One big thing you’ve learnt from Nuush?
Keep moving and keep learning.

Cheese with chives and onion.
What one piece of health advice would you give people?
Don’t smoke. It’s awful.
Tell us something about yourself that people will find riveting?
I used to be a DJ and so I’ve never been beaten at Name that Tune 😀. I also have a love of motorbikes and cars.
